About the opportunity
Overview Financial Manager Greenpoint Cape Town Our commercial client is looking for a Financial Controller / Financial Manager to operational efficiency, and compliance across multiple stores while partnering with operations to drive profitability. Completed SAIPA Articles or AGA(SA) or CIMA or even SAICA would be highly advantageous. MUST HAVE RETAIL/FMCG experience - ESSENTIAL Salary R 65000 - R 75000pm – Hybrid role (1-2 days at home) Early working hours for traffic Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles or CIMA 2-3 years post saipa/saica or cima experience Completed SAICA Articles OR AGA(SA) an added bonus but not a must MUST HAVE RETAIL/FMCG experience - ESSENTIAL Strong knowledge of SARS compliance Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with accounting systems (Pastel, Sage, Xero, etc.) Responsibilities Responsibilities Prepare and present monthly financial results per store and consolidated group Analyze profitability (sales, costs, labor, overheads) Monitor key cost drivers including labor, and expenses Ensure accurate daily sales reconciliation and cash control processes Ensure SARS compliance (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax) Oversee audit readiness and internal controls Develop and maintain SOPs for finance and store processes Design and enhance financial and operational reporting Monitor cash flow and working capital across stores Apply online FROGG Recruitment Job Nature Full Time Educational Requirements Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles or CIMA Experience Requirements 2-3 years Job Location Green Point, Western Cape, South Africa, 8005 Salary R 65000 - R 75000 pm Job Level Mid-Level
