Overview Marketing Manager Claremont Cape Town Our client, an established manufacturer supplying products into the South African retail sector, is seeking a commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead brand strategy, trade marketing, and consumer engagement. The role bridges manufacturing, sales, and retail channels driving demand for the company's products both in-store and online, while supporting national and regional retail partnerships. Salary: Negotiable Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or Communications (essential) 5 years' marketing experience, with at least 2years in a management role Proven experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or consumer goods marketing into SA retail channels - essential Experience managing packaging and POS development processes Experience working with major South African retailers and their promotional/listing processes (advantageous) Responsibilities Manage and oversee Brand & Product Marketing Own brand positioning, architecture, and visual identity across the product portfolio Develop packaging, labelling, and point-of-sale (POS) material in collaboration with design agencies and production teams Strategy & Planning - Develop and execute the annual marketing plan aligned with sales targets, production capacity, and business growth objectives Manage the marketing budget across brand, trade, and digital activities, ensuring measurable ROI Trade & Channel Marketing Lead digital marketing including social media, e-commerce support, content marketing, and influencer partnerships Oversee website, online catalogues, and digital campaigns driving consumer demand and retailer sell-through Manage consumer promotions, competitions, and loyalty initiatives Track campaign performance using analytics and sales data Apply online FROGG Recruitment Job Nature Full Time Educational Requirements Bachelor's degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, or Communications (essential) Experience Requirements 5 years Job Location Claremont, Western Cape, South Africa, 7708 Salary R 50 000 - R 65000 Job Level Management
