Overview Procurement Manager Boksburg Johannesburg Our manufacturing client in Boksburg Johannesburg is looking for a Procurement Manager with 5 years plus experience within the manufacturing experience. Must have imports & exports experience ESSENTIAL Salary Negotiable Qualification and min requirements Procurement/Supply Chain degree 5 years’ experience plus as a Procurement Manager within a engineering/manufacturing industry. MUST HAVE manufacturing experience from an engineering prospective Must have imports and exports experience Manufacturing of tools, equipment and spare parts. Experience with SAGE and Procurement CRM/Software Maintain the integrity of the financial / ERP accounting system (e.g. Evolution) in terms of pricing, costing and supplier terms. Responsibilities Main Responsibilities Lead the Procurement Function - Manage the full sourcing, purchasing, contracting, and supplier performance cycle Ensure compliance with approved procurement procedures, financial controls, and budgets Operate in line with directives from the Head of Finance/Group Operations Director Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its suppliers of goods, services, and capital items Deliver cost-effective, quality-assured, and timely procurement to support manufacturing output Prepare, issue and adjudicate Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for both local and international supply.
